I Grow Local is the online community for producers and consumers to share their mutual passion for local food, embracing the benefits it brings to their area and lifestyle.
Come and enjoy our local produce community website

After several months of stress and strain, I Grow Local has now been launched.
I Grow Local is the Major Project built by me, Graham Barnes, and Interactive Media Production Student at Bournemouth University.
Supermarkets dominate the food market, good farmed animal welfare is being campaigned for and our pockets are being tightened by the recession. So at this moment in time it is important for us all to look to taking more interest in our local area. I Grow Local aims to help to do just this.
The site has been designed to promote the local way of living; helping to protect the environment, support local businesses and create community networks.
People visiting I Grow Local can use this site to find their local food producers, read interesting articles, use tasty recipes and take part in community projects. All of which are created by you, our users.
So please use this site as your one-stop resource for all things local by registering as a valued member. Don't forget to point your friends and family in our direction and if there are any of your local producers that are not on the site, get them to sign up too.
Finally, I would like to thank all those who have realised the ambition of the site and those who have helped me in creating this successful project.
Enjoy!
Graham Barnes
Creator of I Grow Local
